1705 all deeded acres
The terrain is mostly flat on the south side and goes up to some caprocks and higher ground on the north side.
Two good water wells on the ranch. Both are solar with some storage. In wetter times there is a 300-acre lake that will hold water. Then when the water evaporates there is 300 acres of lush green grazing.
The ranch will probably run around 40 head of cattle, although when the lake is green you can add probably 50 more head.
The home is a three story three-bedroom one bathroom home. It is completely furnished with some amazing antique furniture. The present owner spent $50,000 to run electricity to the home so you have all the convenience of either a full-time home or just a great hunting getaway.
This ranch is hunters great get away. The caprock and the deep canyons are home to great Mule deer hunting and the flats have many antelope. Along with these game animals there are also quail, coyote and some mountain lions on the ranch.
This ranch is a great little getaway for hunting, relaxing or a full-time home. It is located just 10 miles from Fort Sumner a quiet little eastern New Mexico town. The access is great with paved roads to the property but with it being deeded land you can lock the gates and have this place all to yourself. Don’t take my word for it, come look for yourself.
